NEW LIST!

Wow- somehow while I was working in the scary room in the last two weeks, some meds/supplies found their way out of the med room downstairs.  :)  So I'd like to update the Needs List today....YAY.  I have started packing up some things for the next barrio team and noticed that we are critically low (and I mean critical!) on gloves (clean, not sterile).    I have 4 boxes, which we will probably use up in two days in the barrios.   We also are very low on:

Children's tylenol (suspension and chewables)
children's cough meds (syrups and chewables)
anti-fungals (we have zero)
hydrocortizone cream
ibuprofen
children's ibuprofen (suspension)
all ACE (we have zero), betablockers, calciumchannel blockers
Children's vitamins (we have zero)
Adult vitamins
permethrin cream (one tube)
vaginal creams (we have zero)
all antibiotics (except flagyl and keflex), we especially need cipro and doxy
baggies
labels
claritin

In the OR  Livida is especially looking for:
sterile gowns (we could use patient gowns too)
laps/sponges
foleys
ephedrine
sterile gloves
surg packs
blades (10s, 11s,)
*any colostomy bags (there is a patient who needs them and they are difficult to obtain here)

We are mysteriously missing a number of stethoscopes and BP cuffs as well- please bring some along to use with your teams!
